Meet Jeff Betancourt

Jeff Betancourt was born and raised in Rochester, New York, where he currently resides. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Betancourt started her career in technology in the IT department of an aerial imaging and software company. There, he decided instead to pursue a career project treasurer role for his city’s school district (RCSD). His experience in technology and accounting has prepared him perfectly for his current role at GiveWP. Currently, he is a customer success advocate for two brands, GiveWP and WP Business Reviews.

Why did you join Liquidweb?

I was excited to join Liquid Web as part of their acquisition when they purchased GiveWP.

Why are you drawn to the hosting industry as a career?

I love that Liquid Web has acquired a plugin company to include their best WordPress solutions. GiveWP, the best WordPress donation plugin!

Is there anything special about Liquid Web that you like?

As part of Liquid Web’s software division, I get to work with some of the most creative and hardworking people. in WordPress.

What’s your favorite part of Liquid Web’s company culture?

My favorite part of Liquid Web’s company culture is that it is team oriented. Easily communicate with other employees outside of your team. Via Slack, Zoom, Google Hangouts, and Twitter.

What is the difference between Liquid Web and other employers in your eyes?

Unlike the corporate world I was in in the past, there were strict formal dress codes and rules, On Liquid Web you can be yourself Wear casual, plain clothes. It seems to create a pleasant atmosphere knowing that your employer values ​​your work more than whether or not you wear a tie to look at a spreadsheet.

What is the biggest milestone you have achieved?

Starting a part-time job in 2019, not knowing much about WordPress, it has grown into a full-time job solving customers’ problems and recovering numerous accounts.

Tell us about an amazing customer experience you’ve had with Liquid Web.

At GiveWP, customer experience is very important. One of the mindset adopted by our entire team is to reduce friction. We try to anticipate and solve our customers’ problems and needs as soon as they are first encountered. This approach has yielded many fantastic customer experiences and feedback, including the following message I received from a customer this September.

Jeff, you are a rock star! thank you! This is by far the best customer service I’ve ever received in my life, and I’m at the age of being a GenXer! I felt respected and informed, and you addressed my concerns and anticipated and addressed further questions. Thanks again for the amazing customer service!

What are you known for on Liquid Web? What specifically do people come to you for?

At Liquid Web, we focus specifically on our customers. Within GiveWP, I am known for resolving license and subscription issues for clients, managing customer accounts, and recovering subscription revenue. (I also frequently played pranks on my office mate Michelle Frechette, who forgot to check the tape when the mouse still didn’t work.)

What is one thing you wish your customers knew about hosting?

I want my customers to know Liquid Web can solve many of your problems with hosting. And through the many plugin solutions we offer within StellarWP.

What is your nickname on Liquid Web and why?

It has won the Dundee Award. To become the best office barista! (Trophy is a comedic reference to a television show. office.)

Work aside, what are your hobbies?

I like to explore the world.Whether it’s a weekend trip to the Adirondack Mountains or an extended trip to Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and more.

What’s your favorite TV show?

office It’s my favorite TV show.

What’s your favorite app?

great capital one. It is so well designed and easy to use. With a background in finance, I can appreciate finance apps when they are secure and designed to meet the needs of their customers.

If I could have dinner with a famous person [dead or alive]Who is it?

It would be fun to have dinner together bad bunnyI come from Puerto Rico, my heritage, my culture, and my love of music!
